Dubai residents Adrian Meronk and Anirban Lahiri compete in the LIV golf tournament in Houston, Texas, with a total prize pool of $25 million

Garrick Porteous of Dubai will be competing in the DP World Tour/LET Volvo Cars Scandinavia Combined Championship this week. It's a busy week of golf, with tournaments in Texas, Ohio and Spain.
Porteous qualified after finishing in the top 10 at the European Open in Hamburg last week, shooting 69, 69, 77 and 70 to finish six shots behind fellow Briton Laurie Kanter.
Rafa Cabrera Bello, also from Dubai, qualified after finishing seventh in Hamburg.
The Scandinavian Combined Championship is a tournament for both male and female golfers.

LIV Golf returns to Houston, Texas for a 54-hole tournament where Dubai residents Adrian Meronk (Cleeks GC) and Anirban Lahiri (Crushers GC) will compete for a share of the $25 million purse.
The PGA Tour has a $20 million signature event, the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio.
The Challenge Tour also resumes this week in Cadiz, Spain.
Ahmad Skaik, the UAE national team’s top amateur, will also be competing, having been invited thanks to a long-standing partnership between the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) / DP World Tour.
Other players with local and regional connections include Shergo Al Kurdi (Jordan), Ross McGowan (Al Hamra Golf Club), Dubai-based friend Gary Stal (France) and Craig Howie (Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club).
