2014 champion Joakim Lagergren was back on top, firing a seven-under 63 to take a two-shot lead on day one of the NI Open Challenge Tour at Galgorm Castle.
The 32-year-old Lagergren had a perfect round with five birdies and an eagle to finish two shots ahead of fellow Swede Per Langfors, 2017 champion Robin Sciot-Siegrist of France and Jeppe Kristian Andersen of Denmark.
“I feel old when I think that was 10 years ago,” said Raglan when asked about his 2014 victory at Ballymena.
The Swede, who won the Sicily Open on the European Tour in 2018 but lost his DP World Tour card after failing to make the cut in 12 of 20 starts last year, sits 82nd in the Challenge Tour rankings this week.
“I played pretty solid today. I felt like I made fewer mistakes than I did the last few times, so even if I hit a bad shot, it was OK,” he added.
Irishman Conor Purcell, Englishman Sam Hutsby and Czech Jiri Zuska all tied for fifth at four under, with nine players one shot back in eighth, including Irishman Gary Hurley.
Alvaro Quiros, the 2011 DP World Tour Championship champion, shot 68 to finish 17th.
Northern Ireland's Jonathan Caldwell shot an even-par 70, while fellow home player Dermot McElroy shot 73, along with fellow Frenchmen Alexander Levy and Benjamin Hebert and Scotland's Marc Warren.
