Homegrown star Sebastian Soderberg heads into the final round of the Volvo Cars Scandinavian Mixed Championship with an eight-shot lead as he looks to translate his recent good form into a first DP World Tour title since 2019.
The 33-year-old Swede has three top-three finishes before heading into his home tournament and has made the cut in each of his last four appearances at the PGA Championship.
He continued that momentum at Vasatops Golf Club in Helsingborg, shooting 63, 66 and 66 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday respectively, to be 21 under after 54 holes.
Scotland's Callum Hill was Soderberg's closest challenger, shooting eight birdies and three bogeys for a 13-under 67.
Britain's Alice Hewson, who leads the Ladies European Tour after three rounds, is tied at 12 under with host hope Alexander Bjork and Spain's Santiago Tarrio in this week's tournament, which pits men and women against each other for one prize and one trophy.
Ireland's Lauren Walsh shot her second straight 75 to drop to one over par in 68th place.

Soderberg started the day with a three-shot lead and he extended his lead to six shots with four birdies on the front nine.
After making back-to-back birdies on the 12th and 13th holes to reach 21 under, Soderberg lost his first shot of the week on the 14th hole.
But he bounced back to win on the 15th hole, then tied it in the closing stages to be in a strong position to win his second DP World Tour title.
He said: “Overall it was a pretty solid round. A lot of good shots and good putts, so I can’t complain.
“I have a lot of friends and family here. It may seem like I’m not taking it all in, but I am. So far, I’ve been pretty good at staying in my own zone, my own bubble.
“That’s what I’m going to continue doing tomorrow.”
