Perrine Delacour won her first Ladies European Tour victory by defeating German amateur Helen Briem in a one-hole playoff.
After 54 holes, the two were tied at 11 under par and had to go back to the 18th hole for a playoff.
Bream hit his drive into the rough on the right, while Delacour hit it down the middle of the fairway at Allerum Golf Club.
The Frenchwoman reached the green in two shots and holed the birdie putt to seal the win.
“The final round was definitely tight,” Delacour said. “I looked at the leaderboard on the 15th hole and made a little mistake and had a bogey. I made two birdies to get into the playoff and then made another birdie, which was awesome.”
“I'm more experienced, and I'm a pro. This is actually my first playoff game! I played it like it was a match play, and it seemed to work out. I have nothing to say.”
Delacour shot 68 and 70 on the first two days and tied for third last night at six under.
The 30-year-old made bogey on the third hole before eagle on the fifth.
She continued with birdies at the 7th, 12th and 14th holes before dropping a shot at the 15th, but then birdied the 17th and 18th holes for a total of 11 under.
