Before the game started, reporters asked Xander Schauffele a question and he seemed a little confused. PGA TourThe season finale at East Lake.
Schauffele spoke with reporters in Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon, looking ahead to the Tour Championship and reflecting on his stellar year so far, which has already seen him win two majors.
As his press conference came to a close, he made his feelings about PGA Tour owner Jay Monahan clear, but one question caught the 30-year-old off guard.

“Who’s the worst player you’ve ever played with?”
Schauffele responded: “Is he the worst player I’ve ever played with?
“It’s a messy question. You know that, right?
“That's like me asking you who's the worst reporter you've ever sat next to.”
Although the X-Man decided not to reveal the name, he still gave the answer.
“I don’t know,” he said.
“Unfortunately, I’ve seen some really bad shots.
“Usually when I’m playing with guys who aren’t that good, I try not to watch, and probably the worst shots I’ve ever seen have been in pro/am matches.
“My golf bag got hit, and Austin and I almost got hit, too.”
Schauffele will play in the opening round of the Tour Championship alongside Scottie Scheffler.
The two will begin the first round of competition at 2:00 p.m. ET on Thursday.
