Rory McIlroy will enter the DP World Tour Championship as the heavy favorite to take home glory in Dubai.
The biggest prize of the season will be revealed at the DP World Tour's annual finals, with $3 million of the total prize pool of $10 million awarded to the winner at the Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth Course.
However, the prize money doesn't stop there, as the top 10 finishers in the Dubai Race will receive a prize of US$6 million. The overall winner receives US$2 million and the runner-up receives US$1 million.
Here, we look back at a curated list of those vying for fortune in Dubai from November 14th to 17th.
Who is participating in the DP World Tour Championship?
This week's field in Dubai is made up of the top 50 players, with leader Rory McIlroy being the biggest star.
Northern Ireland hero McCrory is set to receive a $2 million prize. South Africa's world No. 47 Thirston Lawrence is the only player who can beat him for the Harry Varden Trophy.
Other big names hoping to grab a piece of this week's riches and cross-season prize money include Billy Horschel, Tyrell Hatton and Rasmus Hoggard.
Hojgaard's twin brother Nikolay won last year but failed to qualify this time.
