Belgian professional Thomas Detry is one of the most stable golfers in the world, working steadily on the European Tour and now the PGA Tour.
He has won only two professionals so far, but has been a member of the world's top 100 for a few years and has occasionally dipped in the top 50 in the top 50.
From 2020 at least, the former Illinois player can count on his wife Sarah to support him on the road.
The couple is not clear on how or when to meet, but Sarah Taylor originally came from London, England and has served as Detry and other Belgian golfer, Thomas Pieters ( agents of Thomas Pieters and Nicolas Colsaerts. According to Detry's website, Taylor is listed as part of his team and handles “day management” responsibilities.
In addition to becoming an agent in 2022, his then-girlfriend filled his caddies during the 2022 Afghan Bank Mauritius Open. Taylor helped Detry finish No. 68 at Mont Choisy Le Golf.

The couple is believed to be married in November 2020. Since then, the two have welcomed their two daughters into the world. Sophia was born in 2022 before Alba Elizabeth in 2024.
While it was revealed that Taylor still has a base in London, and the family could use it if Delhi plays in Europe, Belgian professionals shared in a 2024 interview with Golf.com’s “Subpar” podcast After, based on the United States.
Delhi said: “Now, we live outside of the suitcase and we've been alive for almost a week. Obviously, my wife and my kids are traveling with me, so it's not easy, but we made sure we got a great one. House. But we are thinking about getting something.
“Obviously, everything is very fast.OK, what should we do? “I just moved to Dubai in 2021. I kind of settled there too. And then suddenly I thought, ‘Okay, okay, now I’ve been spending almost nine months in the US for a year, so do we have a place to go ? Do we live in London? What should we do?

“Now, we're still in a transition period. We're trying to figure out. Where might a good place live? Scottsdale, I love it. It's a little far from home, but it's a good place. Maybe Florida, we Try the Caribbean too, but it's not easy to reach. So, I think next year [2025] It's a year when we're bound to be committed to something. Hope we'll move [to the US] Otherwise we will find it elsewhere. We have not decided yet. ”
As of February 2025, Detry's PGA Tour Bio still lists Belgian professionals and their families living in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
But, like the spouses of many professional golfers, Taylor prefers to keep a low profile and has little else to know about Taylor. However, she has seen her in several matches at Detry, such as the 2023 Irish Open and the 2024 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
Meanwhile, Taylor often participates in U.S. games, such as the 2024 U.S. Open and PGA Championship. In the latter, Detry ended T4 -T4 – with the highest of his career.
