Golfer Dale Whitnell had an impressive day in the South African Open Friday round as part of the DP World Tour. Whitnell connected in two holes in a rare match during the European Tour.
The British golfer eventually recorded a hole on the par 3 and on the twelfth hole at Durban Country Club. His rounds were spread throughout the place, and he finished with 9 shots, including the third eagle, seven birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey.
In this way, Whitnell ranked 545th in the world and he managed to lay off employees.
“I've been trying to advance, so I know I need to go out and have a good time and get stuck in a hot start like they would say,” Whitnell said after Friday's round.
“The first bird, then hit a flushing iron on the second pole until they cheered and didn't enter the bottom. It was cute.”
Whitnell also knocked a hawk on the third hole of the 5-5 and then connected on his second hole on the 12th hole.
The 36-year-old has been a professional on the European Tour since 2009. Whitnell also competed in the Open Championship in 2012 and ranked 60th in the major championships.
