It's safe to say that Julien Guerrier has had a mixed bag of seasons since joining the DP World Tour in 2005, a tour that the Frenchman has competed in both Played the Challenge Tour again.
However, over the past few years, the 39-year-old golfer has been playing some of the best golf of his life, so much so that at the 2024 Andalusia Masters, he was in a historic nine-hole playoff Campillo won his first DP World Tour title against Jorge.
This was Guerrier's first victory on the DP World Tour, and in lifting the trophy, Guerrier received $552,500 (approximately €508,079) in prize money. Not only was it the biggest payday of his long career, but the bonus was equal to what he had earned in all but one of his seasons on Tour!
As previously mentioned, Guerrier has been in and out of the DP World and Challenge Tours throughout his career, with his first full season on the top circuit coming in 2011 when he earned €172,304.91. However, his performance was only good enough to finish in 122nd place at the end of the season, meaning the Frenchman returned to qualifying school.
Although he regained eligibility in 2012, he was pushed to the Challenge Tour that year and remained there until the end of 2017. After winning on that year's Challenge Tour, he returned to the top-flight Tour and earned €454,244 in 2018, his third most successful season to date.
Since 2018, he has won over €150,000 in 2020, €275,000 in 2021 and €361,000 in 2022, and his best year in terms of prize money is coming soon, when Guerrier's winnings are close to €1 million. Now, at the Andalusia Masters, his first-place prize money exceeds that of all but one in the entire season.

In 2024, Guerrier continues his good form that he has shown over the years on the DP World Tour. This year, he has made 18 cuts in 22 races and with the win, he moved up to 18th in the Tour of Dubai standings.
What's more, with his win at the Sotogrande Royal Golf Club, Guerrier's earnings are expected to exceed €1 million in 2024, already his most successful year to date.
