Tyrrell Hatton won the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic on Sunday, January 19 with a score of 15 under. In the process, Hatton equaled an important record previously held by LIV Golf colleague Jon Rahm.
Hatton's victory at Emirates Golf Club marked his fifth career victory in the DP World Tour Rolex Series, a record previously held only by Jon Rahm. The Rolex Series was launched in 2017 and features different events each season.

Since its inception, only the DP World Tour Championship has remained in the Rolex Series. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic joins the calendar in 2023.
Tyrrell Hatton at the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic

Tyrrell Hatton opened the Hero Dubai Desert Classic with a 1-under 71 after making three bogey-free birdies in his first seven holes. Largely influenced by a double bogey on No. 8.
Hatton bounced back with eight birdies and one bogey in the second round to win the tournament at 7 under. The performance lifted him more than 40 spots on the leaderboard and tied for third after 36 holes.
A day later, the Englishman made an eagle, five birdies, and three bogeys in another round (4 under for the round) to finish tied for second. Just one shot behind 54-hole leader Daniel Hillier.
In the final round, Hatton made 5 birdies and 2 bogeys (3 under par in this round), while Hillier only shot 1 under par and fell to second place. . It was Tyrrell Hatton's eighth victory on the DP World Tour and the 13th of his career.
This is also Hatton's third global victory in the past 13 official matches. He won the LIV Golf Nashville Championship in June, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in October and the Hero Dubai Deserts Classic in January.
