Wellman played three seasons at Texas A&M after transferring from Tulsa. He was a PING All-Regional selection as a sophomore and finished in the top 10 four times. As a junior, he started in all 14 games for the Aggies, recording five top-20 finishes and one top-5 finish.
Previously limited to Europe's leading men's professional circuit, the DP World Tour has gone global, hosting events in Africa, Asia, Australia and North America in addition to its home turf. The 2025 campaign includes 42 Race to Dubai events in 26 countries over 12 months. Next year's Abu Dhabi Championship will determine the 50 players who will advance to the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
