European Tour Productions, the DP World Tour’s in-house production company, will produce and distribute the live broadcast of the Denmark Golf Championships.
This week will see the global swing portion of the season come to a close, with the back nine of next week’s Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo set to begin.
This week's finale came to a close, with last week's champion David Ravetto and Jesper Svensson, who he beat to second place, being the only two players to surpass Robert MacIntyre to take the top spot on the leaderboard and claim the $200,000 prize.
The leading DP World Tour member (not exempt) will also qualify for the BMW PGA Championship, The third of five Rolex Series races this season.
But that's not all there is to Sunday's action, as another $1 million prize pool will be shared by the top 10 players from the Race to Dubai who compete in at least eight “regular” Global Swing events in addition to the majors and the Genesis Scottish Open.
Twelve months ago, Rasmus Højgaard became the event's first home champion when he defeated Nacho Elvira in a six-hole play-off and this year he returns to defend his title alongside his twin brother Nicolai.
They lead a strong Danish team, with tournament chairman Thomas Bjørn also playing at the new venue, Lübker Golf Resort, along with the likes of Søren Kjeldsen and Thorbjørn Olesen, as well as rising stars Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and Jacob Skov Olesen.
