Bastien is from Condette, Pas-de-Calais, France, and has had an outstanding career since his college days at the University of New Mexico.
During his time with Lobos, he received numerous honors, including the All-Shanxi Honors and the prestigious All-American Scholarship.
He highlighted his college career by finishing second in the Wolf Pack Classic victory and the runner-up in the San Diego Rankin Classic, with a No. 16 win in the Amateur World Ranking (WAGR).
In his final year, he also won seven other top ten, including the final 16 matches of the US Amateur Championships in Hazletine and the T3 scored T3 in the World Amateur Championships in Abu Dhabi, where He represents France.

After a remarkable college career at Arizona State University, Ryggs from United Staes became a professional in 2024, quickly earning himself a name on the international golf stage.
He made his debut on the DP World Tour at the 2024 BMW Australia PGA Championship, won the T43 and will continue to win his first DP World Tour title in his second start at the Australian Open , he won three with three. His first professional title.
Ryggs’ journey to professional golf began at Arizona State University, where he received All-Pac-12 honors in 2021 and 2024 and was named Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2023.
During his Arizona State career, he played 157 rounds in 52 games in the 1960s.
