Ludvig Åberg may have held the lead at the Genesis Scottish Open, but many PGA Tour players made the most of Moving Day.
Several players had strong performances on the Renaissance Club golf course on Saturday.
The aim of Moving Day was to top the charts and these five did just that. They had a strong finish in Scotland and were good enough to compete.
Let's see who performed best in Round 3 of the Genesis Scottish Open.
3. Colin Morikawa
It was another PGA Tour event and another week of championship contention for Collin Morikawa, who shot a 4-under 66 on Saturday to move to 13 under. He finished four shots behind Ludvig Åberg, who finished at 17 under.
With six birdies and two bogeys, he set himself up for a superb performance on Sunday.
The two-time major champion has one runner-up finish, six top-10s and 12 top-25s this season.
2. Adam Scott
Adam Scott hasn't played in a tournament in a while, but he played in the Genesis Open in Scotland this week. The PGA Tour veteran shot a 6-under 64 on Saturday to move up 12 spots in the leaderboard.
Scott had four birdies on the front nine for a total of 31. He followed that up with three more birdies and a bogey to finish at 33. The Australian has momentum and is one of the most experienced players in the field.
It was Scott's best finish since the 2020 Genesis Invitational, when he led on the final day of competition. He hasn't won the tournament in more than four years, but he wants to end that streak.
1. Robert McIntyre
Robert MacIntyre is bidding to become only the second Scottish golfer to win the Scottish Open. Colin Montgomerie is the only other Scot to win the event in 1999. MacIntyre finished runner-up to Rory McIlroy in the 2023 edition.
Now he hopes to seal the deal and get a second win in 2024. The RBC Canadian Open champion shot an impressive 7-under 63 to move up 13 places and record the lowest score of the day. He challenged Åberg, but it wasn't enough.
MacIntyre had seven birdies, an eagle and two bogeys on Saturday. He has momentum heading into the final day, and since he's a Scottish golfer, the fans will be behind him.
Can he accomplish this?
