Matthieu Pavon hits a terrifying shot in front of home fans and Sky Sports course commentator Wayne Riley at the Open de France calf.
Pavin, 31, is having a breakout season in his rookie season on the PGA Tour, highlighted by victory at the Farmers Insurance Open in January.
The talented Frenchman ended up finishing tied for 17th in FedExCup competition throughout the season.

Pavin, who won the 2023 Spanish Open, is unlikely to score many points on his trip to Dubai this week as he watches from afar at home in Paris.
The Frenchman had the worst shot of his career on the par-4 13th hole in the first round.
Pavin split the ball in the middle of the fairway and hoisted it into the green from just 133 yards.
But his green light situation soon turned red as Pavin began firing his close balls into the woods.
“It's a German tank,” Sky Sports golf commentator Riley said as he trudged over to find Pavin's ball.
Thankfully, his ball stayed in bounds and Pavin was able to limit the damage to bogey territory.
