Since turning professional in 2019, Rasmus Hojgaard has made headlines several times for his performances on the DP World Tour.
In the years since, he has not only racked up several impressive wins, but also several records have been broken as he continues to make his mark on the game alongside his twin brother Nikolai.

1. Rasmus Hojgaard was born on March 12, 2001 in Billund, Denmark.
2. He started playing the sport at the age of four along with his identical twin brother Nikolai because their father wanted to spend more time with them.
3. As a child, Rasmus also enjoyed swimming, football, handball, badminton and table tennis.
4. In July 2016, he won the Danish International Amateur Championship. A week later, he helped Denmark finish third in the European Men's Team Championship. A week later, he won the McGregor Trophy.
5. He then had more success in amateur competitions, including winning the 2017 European Men's Team Championship with Denmark. Then, in September 2018, he and Nicola were part of Denmark's winning Eisenhower Cup team. Later that month, Ramos competed in the Junior Ryder Cup.

6. Hoijgaard turned professional in 2019, initially competing in the Nordic Golf League before joining the Challenge Tour.
7. Later in the year, he earned his DP World Tour card through Qualifying School.
8. Hoijgaard's first professional title came at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in December 2019. With this victory, he became the first player born in this century to win a title on tour.
9. At the age of 18 years and 271 days, he also became the third-youngest DP World Tour champion, with only Matteo Manassero and Danny Lee winning at younger ages.
10. The win also broke another record – it was his fifth DP World Tour race, making him the fastest Danish rider to win a Tour event since Thomas Bjorn, who took part in 29 races.

11. At the age of 19, he won the 2020 ISPS Handa UK Championship, becoming the second-youngest player to win a title on the DP World Tour after Manassero.
12. A month later, he made his major championship debut at the U.S. Open at Winged Foot but missed the cut.
13. The third victory on the DP World Tour came at the Omega European Masters 2021. A week later, Nicola won the Italian Open, meaning the brothers became the first pair of brothers on the DP World Tour to win in consecutive weeks.
14. Rasmus was selected for the 2023 European Continental Team for the Hero Cup, a tournament designed to help Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald scout potential players for the Marco Simeone Cup. Unfortunately, Rasmus had to withdraw from the tournament due to injury. His replacement? His brother Nikolai, who ended up making the European team while Rasmus sat out.
15. Still, Rasmus and his brother are eager to play in the Ryder Cup together.
16. Rasmus won another DP World Tour title at the 2023 Made In Himmerland, another victory in his home country, becoming the first Dane to achieve the honour.
17. A year later, he scored his biggest win to date, defeating Rory McIlroy and Manassero at the Amgen Irish Open with four birdies in his final five holes.

18. In a 2020 interview with Golf.com, Hoigard revealed that McIlroy is his favorite player.
19. In 2023, Rasmus and Nikola signed with Callaway Golf.
20. Later that year, the pair became the first set of twins to compete in the British Open.
