A chaotic third round at the Omega European Masters, with strong winds making conditions very difficult, saw Matt Wallace lead in the final and close in on his fifth DP World Tour title.
Wallace led Alfredo Garcia-Heredia by four shots and Andrew “Beef” Johnston by five as the final three players entered the final round at Klein Sur Scherer Golf Club in Switzerland, which began at 6:30 a.m. EDT (11:30 a.m. BST).
Jordan Smith was in contention until a penalty on the 12th hole turned his double bogey into a quadruple bogey, leaving him nine shots behind the leader in a group with Darren Fitchard and Richie Ramsey. Play starts at 5:19am ET (9:19am BST).
