The worlds of sport and entertainment will come together at The Wentworth Club when Scottish sporting stars Robert MacIntyre and Andy Murray team up in the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am.
Three-time Grand Slam winner and former world number one Murray, who called time on his illustrious tennis career after the Paris Olympics this summer, will make his star-studded debut at the DP World Tour BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday, alongside soccer icon Gareth Bale and Hollywood star Tom Holland, who will make his third appearance alongside his twin siblings Harry and Sam.

Murray will find the perfect partner at the famous Surrey course in Rolex Series champion McIntyre, who is looking forward to working with his fellow Scot. He said: “Andy is a hero to many people in Scotland and around the world and I am very excited to be playing alongside him for the first time at the BMW PGA Championship.”
“He’s been dedicated to tennis throughout his incredible career, but it looks like he’s been playing a lot of golf since retiring, so I’m looking forward to seeing if all his practice pays off!”
When the BMW PGA Championship begins on Thursday, MacIntyre will be joined by a world-class field that includes 2023 Ryder Cup star Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Sean Lowry, Matt Fitzpatrick, Nicola Hoggard, Justin Rose and Sepp Straka.
Ryan Fox will return to defend his title in the third Rolex Series event of the season, joining European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald, Billy Horschel, Byeong Hun An, Matteo Manassero, Francesco Molinari, Alex Noren and Danny Willett.
Recent champion Matt Wallace, who captured his fifth DP World Tour title at Crans Montana on Sunday, and major champion Adam Scott, currently fourth in the Race to Dubai in partnership with Rolex, will also return to the Wentworth Club, while PGA Tour winners Will Zalatoris, Si Woo Kim and Peter Malnati will make their first appearances at the BMW PGA Championship.

Held just outside central London, the BMW PGA Championship Golf Festival attracts over 100,000 spectators each year, with world-class on-course action, live entertainment on the Show Stage at Groove Armada (Saturday) and Sigala (Sunday), and the unrivalled atmosphere of the vibrant Spectator Village.
The week kicks off with the G4D Tour @ BMW PGA Championship, where some of the best golfers with disabilities will compete for the penultimate G4D Tour title on the iconic West Course on Monday and Tuesday.
Next up is the star-studded Celebrity Pro-Am, which will see global celebrities rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in golf on the fairways. Other celebrities taking part this year include footballers Troy Deeney and Jordan Pickford, rugby player Jamie George, TV stars Anton Du Beke and Michael McIntyre, cricketers James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Ollie Pope and Olympic swimming medallist James Guy, with more to be announced.
The Rolex Series features prominently on the DP World Tour’s 2024 global schedule as part of the ‘Back 9’, covering nine of the Tour’s most historic championships and national open events, running from August to October. It offers members the final chance to secure their rights to play in 2025 and advance to the season-ending ‘DP World Tour Play-In’.
BMW Group owners will once again receive priority parking benefits, while all spectators will enjoy free Park & Ride and shuttle services from local train stations.
