Let’s take a look at the bag of Estrella Damm NA Andalusia Masters champion Julien Guerrier.
Julien Guerrier's years of consistent performances on the DP World Tour were finally rewarded with an extended nine-hole stretch at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande on Sunday. He defeated Jorge Campillo to win the match.
Much of that consistency in play has carried over to his golf bag, with the Frenchman maintaining the same general layout in 230 matches since his debut at the 2005 French Open.
That week at Le Golf National, Guerrier carried a driver, 3-wood, 2-9 iron, wedges, 52- and 58-degree wedges and a putter.
To win in Andalusia, he carried a driver, a four-wood, two utility irons, three nine-irons, wedges, 52- and 58-degree wedges and a putter, basically Replicates the setup from 19 years ago.
He still carries a three-iron, which makes him somewhat of an outlier, with only 18 percent of players carrying a club.
He threw his SM10 wedges into his bag for the first event of the season and has made just two changes since then, swapping out his TSi2 driver and four-wood for a Titleist GT2 driver over the summer and a four-wood.
