Dylan Naidoo moved from Durban to Johannesburg for opening to Joburg after he won his first DP World Tour title at the Investec South Africa Open last week in last week's Investec South Africa Open.
The competition was held at the city's Holden Golf Club, the same as the previous edition held in November 2023.
At that time, Leaf golfer Dean Burmester won three-shots among fellow countrymen of Darren Fichardt in South Africa. The 2023 Championship wallet is R20,500,000 (about $1.1 million), with the same payment method offered this week, with an estimated winner of around $190,000.
The competition also marks the final part of the international swing section of the season, with the winners making an additional $200,000. Laurie Canter led Laurie Canter to the lead with a victory in Bahrain’s championship and runner-up in last week’s match.
Canter is also the current leader in the Dubai rankings in the season, with South Africa still 3,000 points this week. Ryder Cup ranking points are also available for European players.
Here is Joburg Open's bonus payment (based on a match with similar wallet size, about the dollar breakdown).

There are still some famous names in the field, including former champions Dan Bradbury, Darren Fichardt and Sharma Sharbhankar.
The latest winners of the DP World Tour are also participating in the competition, including local stars, Kenya Open champion Jacques Kruyswijk and Alfred Dunhill champion Victor Shaun Norris.
Dylan Naidoo has had a success in the DP World Tour this season, winning the Investec South African Open last week. Other latest winners in the DP World Tour competition include Alejandro Del Rey, who won the Ras Al Khaimah title, Nedbank Golf Challenge Champions Johannes Veerman and John Parry, who won the Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open.
