Joaquin Niemann enjoys 18 months of golf and Chile continues to win after winning at the Lef Golf League track.
He is only 26 years old and is one of the most exciting prospects in golf, especially with 17 professional wins around the world. However, according to two-time U.S. Open champion Curtis Strange, Niemann “needs to be on the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour” to further prove his record.

“I think Joaquin Niemann is a hell for young players. I hope he's on the DP World Tour or the PGA Tour. He needs to play here.
“His talent is at the end of the day, 25 years from now, and I want to see his record related to many other people. When you’re in Lef, that doesn’t happen. You all know what I’m talking about.
“He's there, we only see him four or five times a year, which is disappointing for us all. Those guys, I want to watch the game. I miss them watching their game. They made the decision, it's OK.
“I think the public, the TV guys and all of our game fans want to see these guys play more often on our tour. Don't let them come back, don't get me wrong, but I want them to play on our tour, not there.”

As of writing, Neiman ranked 84th in the official world golf rankings because Liv Golf does not have OWGR points. However, in the data golf rankings, including Leaf golfers, Neiman ranks eighth.
Many say he is the top 10 player in the world, including Phil Mickelson, but some have questioned the theory, especially in the main form of Neiman, whose best score is No. 16 in the 2023 Masters.

Neiman is another player ahead of the Masters on April 10, who recently won the odds drop at Liv Golf Singapore in Singapore as well as Liv Golf Adelaide in February and Liv Golf Adelaide in December 2024.
North explained that Niemann wouldn't be the “dark horse” in Georgia, continuing: “I think he belongs to that kind of person and if he had a really good week and was doing well, you wouldn't be a little surprised.
“Obviously, he's very confident in his performance. He's very, very good. You want him to do a good job.”
