Martin Kaymer has hit out at members of the DP World Tour following his interview over their treatment of him since his decision to join LIV Golf in 2022 different golf digest.
Kaymer, 39, has 11 wins on the DP World Tour, including two major wins at the 2010 PGA and 2014 U.S. Open.
The German is one of a number of star players joining the Saudi-funded league in the summer of 2022.
A year later, Kaymer lost his appeal against a fine for joining LIV Golf and subsequently terminated his DP World Tour membership with the European Ryder Cup legend.
Kaymer, who won the Ryder Cup with a hole-in putt at the 2012 Miracle in Medina, revealed in an interview golf digest He rarely misses the people on the DP World Tour because their attitude toward him changed when he joined LIV Golf.
“I hope everyone treated each other with respect at the time,” Kaymer said.
“If this happened, I would miss some of the people on the DP World Tour. But after the treatment we were treated to, I quickly discovered that most of the relationships I had were based on superficial stuff. I discovered who I really was of friends is.
“I had to listen to the players on the European Tour board talking bad about me. They talked a lot of rubbish about certain things. I had to laugh, especially when I saw them talking to LIV. They wanted to come here so, While I respect them as players, do I miss them as people?”

Kaymer also added that he found a DP World Tour player's opinion of his move to LIV Golf “ridiculous”.
He claimed the player's comments were “offensive” towards him.
“Another player on the DP World Tour Board of Directors said something to me after the 2022 BMW International Open,” added Kaymer.
“After that event, he told me that if he were me, he would accept the LIV contract and tell everyone that he would not play on the DP World Tour again. He said it was a mistake for me to play there in Germany.
“I found his point of view ridiculous, especially when I later saw him walking into a house in Florida to talk to Greg Norman. I mean, come on. It was a joke. He thought I Shouldn't be able to play in my own country, in a game that I won, in front of people who wanted me to play, and he did it in such an aggressive way, I mean, why should he care about me? What about your career?”
Kaymer is the captain of Cleeks GC, LIV Golf Club.
Richard Bland and Adrian Meronk are also members of the Kemer team.
Kalle Samooja is also in 2024, but he was demoted from the LIV Golf League at the end of the season.
Kemer is currently looking for a replacement.
It was a dismal season for Kaymer, who dropped to 40th in the personal standings.
He only finished in the top 10 all season.
