He played in the Netherlands on a sponsor exemption. … Matt Wallace was there, the only player to win on both the European Tour and the PGA Tour. … Henrik Norland used a PGA Tour spot that was a pool of players who ranked from 126th to 200th in last year’s FedEx Cup. He played in Sweden two weeks ago. … All three players who played in this year’s LIV Golf Tournament finished in the top 11 in the Race to Dubai. … Europe had nine players in the top 25 in the world rankings.
