Jon Rahm is red-hot favorite at home of Andalusia Masters DP World Tour This week.
Rahm, 29, is playing his fourth official DP World Tour count event of the season to ensure he retains his tour membership and remains eligible to compete on the 2025 European Ryder Cup team.
The two-time Grand Slam champion returned to the DP World Tour last month after appealing his fine to join LIV Golf in 2024.
Rahm is aiming to win the Andalusia Masters for the first time in his career.
Other stars in the field include Danish duo Rasmus Hojgaard and Thorbjorn Olesen.
David Puig is competing in Sergio Garcia's Fireballs GC at LIV Golf and is also competing on home soil in his bid to win back-to-back DP World Tour titles in Spain and Scotland. Won the top five.
Last week's French Open winner Dan Bradbury is also in the lineup, as is recent European Masters winner Matt Wallace.
This week’s event marks the 10th edition of the Estreladam North American Andalucia Masters, which will be held at the Royal Sotogrande Golf Club for the second time.
The Andalusia Masters is the second DP World Tour event to be held in Spain in Dubai 2024, following the Spanish Open hosted by Madrid last month.
Lahm lost in a playoff there to his Spanish compatriot Ángel Hidalgo.
So redemption is on the minds of Rahm at home this week.

The total prize money for the 2024 Andalusia Masters is $3.25 million.
The winner will pocket $552,500.
