South Africa's Shaun Norris shot a final-round 67 to win the Alfred Dunhill Championship and his second DP World Tour title on home soil.
The 42-year-old started six strokes off the lead but charged the course with an eagle and five birdies, recording a double bogey on the par-3 seventh hole for his only defects.
Norris hit a nice shot from the fairway bunker on the 18th hole to finish at 13 under, the clubhouse test target.
While many players in the final group were still vying for a chance to overtake Norris, a tough closing stretch at Panther Creek Country Club saw off his challengers one by one until Ryan van Velzen in the final group. There is a realistic chance of denial. Norris play-off.
But the young South African found water on his final drive against Norris on the 18th tee, at 13 under, and the resulting bogey gave Norris a one-shot advantage. The victory capped his Stein City Championship win. 2022.
Norris, who also tasted victory at the Golf Japan Series JT Cup in Japan two weeks ago, said: āIām delighted to have achieved this result.
England's John Parry, third-round leader Marcus Kinghout and Van Velzen are tied for second, one shot behind Norris at 12 under.

Tom McKibbin He ended his week with an unprecedented 72 after recovering from a chaotic front nine, with two bogeys and a double bogey on the par-4 ninth.
The Holywood golfer, who has 10 top-10 finishes in 2024, bounced back on the back nine with three birdies on the way home to get back to under par for the championship. 5 strokes and ended up tied for 24th.
Conor Purcell was the only other Irish entrant in the field, failing to advance at +2 after rounds 75 and 71.
