The DP World Tour suspended Marco Penge on Wednesday for breaching the PGA European Tour's Integrity Program by betting on golf.
The 26-year-old from Horsham, England, placed bets on multiple golf events, breaching November 2015 rules that ban betting on any professional or amateur golf event worldwide.
Article 3(a)(i)
No Relevant Person shall directly or indirectly place bets, or instruct any other person to place bets, on the outcome, progress, conduct or any other aspect of any professional or elite amateur golf event anywhere in the world.
Penge turned pro in 2017 and has enjoyed success on the Challenge Tour, winning two events: the 2023 Portuguese Open and the Rolex Challenge Finals, where he topped the money list.
