DP World Tour has announced the extension of its partnership with international finance and banking solutions HSBC.
The deal will see the brand remain the title partner of the 2024 Abu Dhabi Championship. Notably, this provides support to the association, which was first established in 2011.
The 19th edition of the tournament will take place on Yas Island from November 7 to 10, with the Rolex Series serving as the first of two events at the end of the new season in the DP World Tour Playoffs. It will include the top 70 players in the Race to Dubai rankings, with the top 50 players at the end of the playoffs advancing to the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. The two playoff events in the UAE have a combined prize pool of $19 million.
The sporting event has won several awards for its unique preparations, including the Silver Award for “Best Sports Event” in 2024 and the Silver Award for “Best Sponsorship Partnership” in 2023 at the Middle East Sports Industry Awards.
