Sean hasn't had much rest in recent weeks – he was asked on Thursday how he maintains the energy to play golf at a high level in multiple time zones with minimal rest, and he said he wasn't sure. But during the first session of the PGA TOUR Q-School in October, a swing idea struck him, and Sean, a longtime golf fan and avid tinkerer, pared it down into two months of strong form. The UCLA alum finished second on Stage 2, seven shots inside the cut line, to advance to the final stage and solidify at least a 2025 conditional Korn Ferry Tour berth. He spent a relaxing weekend at home with his girlfriend — making sure to buy her lunch and dinner after feeling bad away from home for so many weeks — before flying to Florida for the final stage of PGA Tour Q-School. With his DP World Tour membership solidified, he's free to fight his way through the top five and ties this week to qualify for the PGA Tour.
