1. Callum Hill was born on November 3, 1994 in Kirdy, Scotland.
2. Introduced to the game by his father Neil, he first played at Aberdour Golf Club and then at Muckhart Golf Club in his hometown.
3. In 2012, he received a golf scholarship to Western New Mexico University.
4. Three years later, Hill earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting but remained at the university and took on a role as an assistant men’s golf coach — a position he held for two years before turning professional in 2017.
5. After Hill won his first professional title at the 2017 San Juan Open, he tasted victory for the second time two months later at the Arizona Golf Championship.
6. He then qualified for the 2018 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills via the finals tournament, where he finished T61.

7. Shortly thereafter, Hill began playing on the Challenge Tour and won his first of three tour wins in August 2018 at the Galgorm Resort & Spa Northern Ireland Open.
8. In 2019, he won two more Challenge Tour titles, which helped him finish second on the money list and earn a DP World Tour card for the 2020 season.
9. Hill’s first DP World Tour title came at the Kazoo Classic in August 2021, when he defeated Alexander Levy by one stroke.

10. Later that year he was bitten by an insect in Spain and it became infected. However, this seemingly minor problem caused him to become neurotic and was unable to leave his home for almost 12 months.
