Dan Bradbury claimed his second DP World Tour title at the FedEx Open in France and secured a spot in next month's DP World Tour play-offs in the UAE.
The Englishman won the 2022 Joburg Open for the first time, shooting a bogey-free 5-under 66 in the final round to lead compatriot Sam Bairstow and Germany's Yannick by one shot Paul and Danish pair Thorbjorn Olsen and Jeff Winther.
After birdieing the first hole, Bradbury stayed patient and parred the next eight holes before notching his second gain of the day on the 10th hole. At one stage he was tied for first with 11, but three consecutive birdies on the 14th hole gave him the lead.
Winther leads the clubhouse at 15 under, Paul joins that number, and Bradbury plays the final four holes at National Golf Club at 2 under. Awesome game. On the 18th hole, he kept calm, two-putted, and the total score was 16 under par. Olson and Bairstow could only finish second in the group with the last par score.
The 25-year-old started the week in 98th place in the Battle of Dubai rankings with Rolex, working towards a spot on the DP World Tour in 2025, and ended the season by winning the DP World Tour. Left Le Golf National after a spot. World Tour Championship next month.
“Honestly, our goal is to advance so I don't have to go to Korea and keep my card,” Bradbury said.
“It sounds good to hear that (that I've reached the play-offs). I think I'll consider a flight to Dubai.”
