Former world number one Adam Scott will compete in the BMW PGA Championship at the Wentworth Club from September 17-22, along with world champions Francesco Molinari, Matthieu Pavon, Aaron Rai and Will Zalatoris.
They join a world-class field that includes defending champion Ryan Fox, as well as European Ryder Cup stars Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick, Sean Lowry, Robert MacIntyre, Nicola Hoggard, Justin Rose, Sepp Straka and captain Luke Donald.
BMW PGA Championship general admission tickets sold out in record time on Saturday, with fewer than 100 general admission tickets remaining on Sunday, and all Ticket+ tickets for tournament day were also sold out.

Scott, who won the Masters in 2013, returns to Wentworth for the fourth consecutive season and the popular Australian will once again test the waters at the famous Surrey venue.
“Wentworth is always an important stop on my schedule and I’m really looking forward to returning here for the BMW PGA Championship,” said Scott, an 11-time DP World Tour winner.
“The energy of the passionate British fans, the atmosphere and the world-class field made this Rolex Series event truly stand out.”
Molinari kicked off a memorable 2018 with victory at the BMW PGA Championship, then became Italy’s first Carnoustie Open major champion and won two PGA Tour titles in 12 months.
The 41-year-old has a stellar record at the BMW PGA Championship, with a runner-up finish and five top 10s. The six-time DP World Tour champion will captain the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Golf Resort Team Cup alongside Rose, which will be held from January 10-12, 2025. Molinari, who captained the continental European team to victory two years ago, will face his Ryder Cup teammate, who is captaining the British and Irish team for the first time.
“I’m looking forward to returning to the BMW PGA Championship. It’s always one of the top events on the calendar, with such a strong field and incredible support from the fans at Wentworth,” said Molinari. “I have great memories here and I’m looking forward to another great week in London.”
American star Zalatoris will make his BMW PGA Championship debut in September, when he will tee off on the West Course for the first time. The PGA Tour winner is excited to play on the global stage and is jumping at the opportunity to showcase his skills to fans in the UK.
“I’m really excited to be playing in the BMW PGA Championship for the first time,” said Zalatoris. “It’s always been a dream of mine to play in the Wentworth Championship. I’ve watched it on TV and spoken to a lot of people about it, so I’m looking forward to experiencing the tournament and the atmosphere in London this September.”
British player Rai will receive a hero’s welcome when he returns home after winning the recent Wyndham Championship and clinching his first PGA Tour title in North Carolina.
Rai, the 2020 Scottish Open Rolex Series champion, earned his PGA Tour card through the Korn Ferry Tour, has been playing as a dual member since the 2022 season and has three top-10 finishes in four starts at the Wyndham Championship.
“It’s always special to play in front of my home fans, and I’m excited to return to the BMW PGA Championship this summer,” said Rai, who tied for second behind Ryan Fox at Wentworth last season. “My game is in great shape right now, and I’m looking forward to having a great week at Wentworth.”
Pavon has enjoyed an impressive year since his breakthrough victory at the DP World Tour Spanish Open last November and has been awarded dual membership on the PGA Tour for 2024.
The French player quickly made his mark in the United States, opening the year with his first PGA Tour win at the Farmers Insurance Open in January, finishing in the top five at the U.S. Open and making his Olympic debut on home soil.
“The BMW PGA Championship is a massive tournament – everything from the course to the fans to the history of the venue makes me always look forward to this week,” said the French number one.
Held just outside central London, the BMW PGA Championship Golf Festival attracts over 100,000 spectators each year, with world-class on-course action, live entertainment on the Show Stage at Groove Armada (Saturday) and Sigala (Sunday), and the unrivalled atmosphere of the vibrant Spectator Village.
The G4D Tour @ BMW PGA Championship takes place early this week, with some of the best golfers with disabilities set to compete for the penultimate G4D Tour title on the iconic West Course on Monday, September 16 and Tuesday, September 17.
Next up is Wednesday's star-studded Celebrity Pro-Am, featuring global celebrities and some of golf's most celebrated players in a fun-filled opener leading up to the main event, the BMW PGA Championship, which begins on Thursday, September 19.
The Rolex Series features prominently on the DP World Tour’s 2024 global schedule as part of the ‘Back 9’, covering nine of the Tour’s most historic championships and national open events, running from August to October. It offers members the final chance to secure their rights to play in 2025 and advance to the season-ending ‘DP World Tour Play-In’.
BMW Group owners will once again receive priority parking benefits, while all spectators will enjoy free Park & Ride and shuttle services from local train stations.
To avoid disappointment, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets now as all matchday Ticket+ packages have sold out and Premium Experience packages are also selling out quickly. Saturday’s general admission tickets are sold out and there are less than 100 general admission tickets left for Sunday.
The Ballroom and Champions Club premium experience packages are now sold out for the entire day, with very limited seating available at Green on 18 and The Approach by James Tanner. The Approach offers a flexible, informal premium experience, with dishes prepared by British chefs, while audiences can enjoy the views of Green on 18 and all the action.
