The partnership will see the BMW Australian PGA Championship, one of Australian golf’s two major tournaments, join BMW’s array of high-end global tours, alongside the DP World Tour’s BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, the BMW International Open in Munich, the PGA Tour’s penultimate playoff tournament – the BMW Championship – and the BMW Women’s Championship on the LPGA Tour.
The BMW Australian PGA Championship, held at the Royal Queensland Golf Club from November 21 to 24 this year, is one of the premier championships on the Australian sporting calendar, attracting record crowds for its vibrant party holes and exciting golf, with Min-woo Lee winning the 2023 title in unique style.
Thanks to a joint sanctioning agreement between the Challenger Australian PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, this year’s BMW Australian PGA Championship will once again feature a world-class field, pitting Australia’s best professionals against the best international players.
