One of the most prestigious events on the DP World Tour calendar, the Betfred British Masters, takes place at The Belfry.
Hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, the tournament marks the start of the season's back nine – a series of tournaments that will generally offer higher prize money and more Race to Dubai points than previous events of the season.
These are crucial for them as competition for the top 70 in the Race to Dubai and into the season-ending DP World Tour Playoffs becomes increasingly fierce.
The 2023 tournament winner is David Hillier, with a $3.5 million prize, which is also the prize money figure this year, with the winner receiving $595,000 and the runner-up receiving $385,000.
As for Race to Dubai points, the tournament offers 5,000 points, up from 3,000 points in the regular event previously this season.
The start of the back nine also means that the player who tops the individual leaderboard at the end of that period will receive another $200,000 in bonuses.
The last nine events also provide a chance for the top 15 non-DP World Tour members among the top 70 in the PGA Tour FedEx Cup standings.
Here is the prize money breakdown for the Betfred UK Masters.
