The 2025 DP World Tour continues to the Asian Swing, further demonstrating the various courses and cultures heading to Dubai.

As the third of five global volatility in the first phase of the season, we’ve seen a series of established regulars, rising stars and new faces on the Tour in Asia.

Three of the four counting events were fixtures returned from last year’s Asian swingers, familiar venues Laguna National and DLF and Country Club once again hosted stops in Singapore and India.

There were also visits to different venues, hosting the enhanced isolation of the 30th Volvo China Open in Shanghai, and then the first Mission Hains Haikou was held at Hainan Classic, as the swing approached back-to-back events in China.

•Asian Swing: Everything You Need to Know

So before the action begins this week, DP World Travel Commentator Ali Whitaker,,,,, Inci Mehmet,,,,, Anthony Wall and Jamie Spence Every player who chose them watch, and we can get to know their tables so far this season.

Ali Whitaker chooses Haotong Li

Dubai Ranking: 9
Official world golf ranking: 157
DP World Tour Wins: 4

How did he start?

The Chinese star started the championship in Dubai’s top ten after returning to the winner’s circle at the Qatar Masters in February. His three wins have won the Asian continent, including his first land in 2016, highlighting that he is the player who fits these conditions. The 29-year-old has not missed the layoffs in six games so far this season.

Alibaba: For me, there are two compelling “players to watch” in the upcoming Asian swing. The first is Home Hope Haotong Li, whose stock not only emerged with the victory of Qatar, but because he didn't have one chance, but two opportunities to inspire his motherland Chinese fans. Over the years, he has repeatedly appreciated some things. The 2014 victory at the Nanshan China Masters, and the 2015 Mysterious International close-range mistake proved that he wasn't afraid in the larger crowd, but the 2016 Volvo China Open was his biggest four wins on the DP World Tour so far, when he had the most pressure on anyone that day. He is in a state, ready to show off in front of friends and family.

Another player already on everyone's radar, but every round is Jordan Smith. His batting count remains as solid as ever, his excellent golf cuts on it, and one day he will line up and beat the field for four consecutive days.

Inci Mehmet chooses Haotong Li

INCI: Consistency is key, but winning the game is the real importance of winning the swing. In this case, Haotong Li has been working hard with his swing coach Jamie Gough to make his game sharper, but also continues to work on his spiritual strength. Currently ranked second in the near-game and is already a winner this year, and his confidence is rising. With his recent intense form and returning to China’s familiar territory (he has won before), his skill, confidence and comfort put him in the dominance.

Anthony Wall chooses Keita Nakajima

Dubai Ranking: 107
Official world golf ranking: 144
DP World Tour Wins: 1

How did he start?

The former amateur world number one, the Japanese entered the second full campaign of the DP World Tour. Since Qatar, the Porsche Singapore Classic will be his first match in Dubai in 2025. Although he may have missed the cuts by Ras Al Khaimah and Bahrain, his ability on this level is undoubtedly in claiming to be his breakthrough DP World Tour in India. He is one of two players to create the Albatross so far this season, and he did it in the final round of the Heroes Dubai Desert Classic in January.

Anthony: The 2025 season starts slowly, but he certainly has to find the form soon. Last year, Singapore ranked in the top 30, and India’s victory proved that he had certificates of granular vegetables and hot and humid conditions in Asia.

Jamie Spence chooses Angel Ayora

Dubai Ranking: 23
Official world golf ranking: 186
DP World Tour Win: 0

How did he start?

Espanyol graduated from a hotel-scale tour last year and started two top matches in the 2025 Dubai campaign. This format saw the 10th place in the DP World Tour rookie at the end of the opening ceremony, and while a series of events in the international swing was indeed more difficult, he did enjoy the top 20 results in Qatar and Kenya, proving that he could adapt to different conditions.

Jamie: The 20-year-old Spaniard seems destined to have a long career – someone explains the star. He has long exceeded the tee – 12th on the tour in driving distance – but has a full match and a calm head. He has two top six since graduating from the Hotelplanner Tour. He is very motivated and plays most weeks. His average stroke of 70.29 was impressive in his first season on the new field. I think it's a matter of time to see the angel's breakthrough.

What endangers?

The Asian Swing Band offers players the opportunity to play some of the biggest events on Earth if they can get high in the rankings.

All matches will occupy the Asian swing in all the matches of the Porsche Singapore Classic, the Heroes India Open, the Volvo China Open and the Hainan Classic, while the players won the highest score in the second phase of the DP World Tour, with the defender 9, and another $200,000 in prize money.

The player who only ranked No. 1 in the swing will also be a spot in the US PGA Championship, the second major of the season, held at Quail Hollow Club from May 15 to 18.

Genesis Scottish Open (the second Rolex series of the season) also has a available position, which has not been exempted for the top player in the rankings.
