The penultimate DP World Tour event of the season goes into the final round and Paul Waring tops the leaderboard.
The Englishman got off to a stunning start with scores of 8 under and 11 under over the first two days at Yas Links. He checked his progress with an over-par 73 on Saturday, but he still enters the final round of the championship at 18-under, one ahead of Niklas Norgaard by three strokes over Shane Lowry.
The trio are the last group to start, with kick-off taking place at 2.20am ET (7.20am GMT).
Following closely behind is the team consisting of Tommy Fleetwood, Sebastian Soderberg and Thorbjorn Olesen, Kick-off is at 2.09am ET (7.09am GMT).
Fleetwood, in particular, will be confident of closing the gap on the leaders as he has won the event twice in the past. He trailed Waring by three points heading into the final round.
Competitors are vying for a spot in the top 50 of the 'Battle of Dubai' rankings for a spot in the line-up for the end-of-season DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth Course and a chance to win the Harry Vardon Trophy.
One player unfazed by his involvement is Rory McIlroy, who is in pole position to be crowned Dubai Race winner for the sixth time. He started the final round at 13 under with LIV Golf’s Joaquin Niemann and 2021 D+D Royal Czech Masters champion Johannes Veerman In a group. All three games start at 1.15am ET (6.15am GMT).
